Big Green Jelly Bean

So we had an assignment in college , where we had to observe a place and write about it . I observed these pillars and wrote a poem on them .

A big green jelly bean

Faces 20 PILLARS ,

Existing , but unseen

Are surrounded with sinners

They stand strong in a group

Teaching us Unity

Without which , we’d be in a loop

Trying to escape reality

They spread gossip,

They witness debates,

They attend mini concerts ,

They participate in rehearsals.

These footsteps are never light

Nor the humming A.C duct

But , oh what a musical sight

Writing songs that can reconstruct.

A forest lies in front of these pillars

With beauty so magnetic

Explodes our brains with colors

Making us so poetic.

Then time starts to slow

And the winds start to grow

Let the clouds cry

And the birds fly high

Let the crows spy

So when we leave as alumni

Come the storm, Come the sun

We will be united as one.
