Raining Wounds

Have you ever thought of the pouring rain ?

The joy it brings

The sadness it washes

The depression it sinks

The heartbreak it stitches

The wounds it heals

The fire in the soul it extinguishes

ONLY for a brief while .

The opportunity it gives us

To FIX ourselves , but

Being of human nature we decide

To throw it all away and

RETURN to our broken selves ,

ONLY to be wounded again .
